Cup Game V Ulster Rockets
Mark Grennell’s ladies were comfortable winners in a family affair against the Ulster Rockets.
Grennell’s side never trailed and were 12- 6 up in the first quarter, 30-23 up at half time.
The Ash Sullivan inspired ladies in ORANGE stretched into a 12 point lead at the end of the third quarter and ran out 58-43 winners in the end.
Grennell was happy with the win. “We are through to the semi finals and that is important. It is also important for the club and our sponsors that both our Nivea Superleague teams are through”
“We will however have to improve if we are to progress further but our injuries are beginning to ease. It was good to have Caroline Flynn back while Eimear Naughton is almost ready for a return and Ciara Flaherty is not far away either. We will also have Michelle Clarke back. She missed the game as she was playing with the clubs under 18’s in Tralee” said The Killester coach.
